Bear

Bear a 4 year old pomchi – pom x chi who is being rehomed due to no fault of his own. He is currently in a foster home and is proving to be a very well behaved dog. Bear is fully housetrained but will only toilet on grass so some area of lawn in an outside space is a must.

Bear seems to be dog friendly and is currently in foster with a couple of small dogs. He does get a little frightened of bigger dogs and will bark at them. We think he would do best in a home with another compatible small dog. A previous owner did suggest he would chase cats but he is currently sharing a home with a cat without issues. He has been found lying quite happily next to the cat on the bed ( although the cat was less than amused about this!)

Bear is extremely affectionate and is happy to greet any visitors to the home. However we are looking for a home where there are no children or visiting children as a previous owner has reported that Bear is stressed by young children and may show some guarding issues. Bear has been the perfect house guest – he does not however like being moved off the sofa once he gets himself comfy!

Please note that Homeless Hounds welcomes applications from Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under 5 years old.
