Bones (or Marvin as his fosterer prefers to call him) is a staffy who came in to us a few months ago in a very emaciated condition. We think he is around 9 years of age.
Thanks to the tender loving care of his fosterer Bones has now put on weight and is almost at his ideal weight now.
Bones is dog friendly and we believe he may have previously lived with another dog. However, within the home he does like to have all his human’s attention, and will nudge his foster mum until he gets it!! He is a typical staffy and loves lots of affection from his owner. We think he would be best in a home as the only dog or where any resident dog was female and tolerant.
Bones walks very well on the lead and enjoys a number of walks a day as his foster mum is building up his muscle mass. We don’t think he would do very well being left for long periods of time – the bad treatment and neglect he has endured in the past, has left him being rather needy of attention and company.
