Bray is a gorgeous male white Boxer, around 2 years old, who is looking for a very special forever home where he can finally settle, feel safe and be absolutely spoiled.
Bray was rehomed a few months ago, but unfortunately the home environment isn’t quite right for him as there are two other dogs in the household and he has struggled to settle. We feel he would thrive much better as the only dog in the home, where he can have all the attention and one-to-one time he deserves.
What Bray needs:
• An only-dog home.
• Someone who understands that he may need time, patience and reassurance.
• Ideally someone who works from home or is around for most of the day, as Bray does struggle with being left alone and has separation anxiety.
• A calm, settled home where he can have his own space and routine.
• Someone willing to continue working with him and help build his confidence.
• Children would need to be considered carefully, and ideally older children/adults, as he may knock little ones over.
• No other dogs preferably , as he needs to be the centre of attention and have the opportunity to settle without the pressure of other dogs around him.
Bray is fine with people, but he can be a nervous boy and will need someone who doesn’t expect too much too soon. He can be cautious around children and other dogs, so introductions and interactions would need to be handled responsibly. Bray has so much potential. He is a young dog who needs someone to understand him rather than give up on him. With the right person, patience, consistency and lots of love, we really hope he can become the happy, settled boy we know he can be. Bray is also currently undergoing a course of antibiotics for an ongoing upset tummy, which we are hoping will settle soon. His future home would need to be prepared to continue any treatment and diet recommended.

To adopt Bray, please complete an Adoption Application form and we will be in touch.
Please note that Homeless Hounds welcomes applications from Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under 5 years old.
