Buddy

Buddy is new to Homeless Hounds and is under assessment. You can still apply for this handsome boy but be aware at this stage we don’t know what type of home he will require.

Buddy is 3-4 years old and is already a firm favourite in kennels. He is a gentle boy who just loves humans and has been lucky enough to enjoy lots of days out with our lovely kennel volunteers.
When Buddy came in to us, he was reported as being quite anxious and wary around strangers particularly men but as he has settled with us, he has proved to be very friendly with people he meets. Buddy is also non reactive to other dogs whilst on his walks and has been walking alongside another volunteer’s dog without any issue.

When Buddy came into us, he had been getting into fights with another resident dog but we feel that with careful introductions and integration he could live with a calm neutered female dog.
Buddy is apparently scared of the dark so a night light will be essential to keep those demons at bay!

Please note that Homeless Hounds welcomes applications from Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under 5 years old.
