***Cooper is now RESERVED, we are no longer accepting applications, thank you***
Cooper is new to Homeless Hounds and is under assessment. You can still apply for this handsome young boy, but be aware at this stage we don’t know what type of home he will require.
Cooper is an affectionate, handsome and intelligent young German Shepherd. This boy is approx 2 years and 8 months old. He’s been with us a number of weeks now and gets lots of attention and love from our volunteers, due to his friendly, happy go lucky personality.
Out on a walk, Cooper gets excitable when he sees other dogs and pulls on the lead. He needs some support and training in this area. He is very treat oriented and so we are hopeful this can be settled with consistent training. He loves to travel in the car to the dog field where he enjoys running for the ball, he has good recall and is generally just happy to be in your company.
He’s lived with a female dog in his previous home and they got in really well. As he’s only been with us for a matter of weeks we are still learning about Coopers personality.
As we get to know Cooper we will keep the website updated.

To adopt Cooper, please complete an Adoption Application form and we will be in touch.
Please note that Homeless Hounds welcomes applications from Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under 5 years old.
Thank you
