Eccles

Handsome Eccles in currently in a foster home and this is what his foster daddy has to say about him.

We’ve been fostering Eccles for 2 weeks now and he’s a lovely gentle soul. He has been the perfect house guest. Eccles is fully house trained, crate trained for bedtime and is content to be left in his crate for at least an hour. We are slowly increasing the length of time he is left alone. He is also very happy in the car. We have taken Eccles with us to a friends house for an afternoon and to a café. He behaved beautifully in both.
Eccles enjoys his 30 minutes twice daily walks and we now have him walking on a loose lead by our sides. He has a 5 minute mad dash up and down the garden with a ball to loose some energy. He does need somewhere to be able to do this and have the chance to run free. He is dog friendly but we are yet to see how he is with small fluffies ie. Cats.
In the house, Eccles is content to lie around, chew his toys and follow you from room to room.
Eccles loves people and we haven’t had any issues with him jumping up or at this stage, counter surfing. He has learnt the command wait and OK, he will sit when asked and is learning lie-down.
Eccles only ‘vice’ is an occasional tendency to nip when he gets over-excited. We are working on this.
Eccles will make a wonderful family pet for someone with the time to give him the walks/exercise he needs. He would thrive in a calm household.
