Ebony is new to Homeless Hounds and is under assessment, you can still apply for this beautiful and placid girl but be aware at this stage we don’t know what type of home she will require.
Ebony is a beautiful Cane Corso lady – we are not sure how old she is but the vet estimated she was approximately 1 year of age. When Ebony first came to us, she was very frightened and shut down – she didn’t even want to leave her kennel. However as the weeks have gone by, she has grown in confidence and enjoys the company of her human visitors to her kennel. She is an incredibly gentle and calm lady who takes treats gently and loves a good fuss and lots of affection. She enjoys playing with her toys and has enjoyed a number of trips out. She particularly loved a pamper in a nearby grooming salon and won a lot of hearts with her gentleness.
Ebony doesn’t appear to be reactive to other dogs outside her kennel. She has been at fairly close quarters to other dogs and has shown absolutely no adverse reaction. She is happy to walk alongside other dogs with no issues at all. We are keeping this under review as it is comparatively early days for Ebony. Ebony was initially quite reluctant to go on walks and would stage a “sit in” if she felt unsure about anything and made it clear that she didn’t want to go any further! However her confidence is growing and now if her handler slackens the lead and says “ come on now “ she is happy to get up and follow her human.

To adopt Ebony, please complete an Adoption Application form and we will be in touch.
Please note that Homeless Hounds welcomes applications from Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under 5 years old.
