***Freddy is now RESERVED, we are no longer accepting applications, thank you***
Freddy is a 10 month old small crossbreed. When fully grown he may be spaniel size. We are told he is a cocker spaniel/ dachshund cross. Freddie came in to us after the resident dog in his home took a dislike to him as Freddy is a lively pupster!
All applicants should note that whilst Freddy is unfailingly and overwhelmingly cute, he is a pupster and he will need training. Any interested applicants will need to have the time and resources to take him to training classes and help him work through some of his issues.
On the plus side Freddy is extremely smart and loves brain games. He is a very quick learner too. Freddy LOVES people and whilst he sleeps in his own bed at night, he will try to sneak in with his humans if given half the chance! Freddy can still be hit and miss with other dogs due to his early experience but this will improve given his young age with time, patience and persistence. He can be an anxious boy at times but in a stable environment he will relax and this will improve. He does suffer from separation anxiety so he needs someone around for most of the day and to help him with this. He is needy boy and loves to be round his humans.
As you can imagine as a pupster he loves to play. He’s still quite boisterous so would not be ideal with very small children.

To adopt Freddy, please complete an Adoption Application form and we will be in touch.
Please note that Homeless Hounds welcomes applications from Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under 5 years old.
