Heidi is an approximately 4 year old German Shepherd type girl who is currently under assessment.
So far we have found her to be a little nervous of strangers (particularly men) but soon warms up to people particularly if treats are on offer!
Heidi is non reactive to other dogs on her walks but she does need to be the only dog in the home.
Heidi can walk well on the lead but does zig zag and circle so would benefit from more lead training.
Heidi absolutely loves humans and having loads of attention once she knows people. She is very affectionate and loving. We wouldn’t rehome Heidi where there are younger children given that she often seems to be a little unsure about things.
Heidi would make a lovely companion for an active person willing to take the time to get to know her and to train her.
