Milo is a handsome 3 year old Jack Russell terrier who is looking for a new home due the fact that he and his litter brother have started having a few arguments! Milo always seems to end up worse off in these encounters and therefore his owner has very reluctantly decided that it’s in his best interests to be rehomed.
Milo is a very affectionate boy who loves sitting on his owner’s knee and having cuddles. However, he is also an anxious boy who needs a quiet home with no young children.
Despite his small size, Milo can pull on the lead initially but this calms down after about 15 minutes into a walk. He therefore wouldn’t be a suitable for anyone with mobility or balance issues as he can be a little powerhouse!
Outside the home on his walks Milo will need help to develop his doggie socialisation skills -he is reactive to other dogs on walks and can be very vocal. Any new owner should be prepared to devote some time to this and to Milo’s further training generally.
Inside the home, Milo will bark when any visitors arrive and applicants should be aware that his bark can be rather loud for a small fella. He is used to living with older teenage children and given that he is fearful of loud noises, we don’t think he would be suited to living with younger children. Milo is fearful of the hoover, the broom and of course the dreaded fireworks.
Milo would also love a home with a private secure garden to play in – in the right environment and with a patient owner, Milo will make someone a cracking pet.
