Rex is a 6 year old frenchie described by his lovely fosterer as a beautiful cuddly boy. He came into the rescue through no fault of his own when his owner emigrated.
He loves to snuggle up with his head on your lap and his head being scratched – if you stop he taps you with a paw to remind you to carry on!
He adores playing ball but we would suggest he have a solid rubber one because he will destroy a ball by constantly chomping on it.
Rex can get a little jealous regarding attention and likes to muscle his way in past other dogs in the home which the fosterer does not allow. For this reason he is best as the only dog in the home although we know he has lived with a dominant female frenchie in the past.
Out on his walks he is dog friendly and he walks well on a lead, no pulling at all.
He is not keen on having his teeth cleaned but again he tolerates it!
Rex hasn’t been tested with small children but has been great with the fosterer’s 9 year old grandson. He can be a little clumsy and heavy so is best rehomed around older children.
Rex is an obedient little fellow and knows certain commands such as sit and drop. He will need more training but he is very willing to learn.
