Ronnie is a 6 year-old Collie cross who loves people. Once he meets you, his affectionate nature really shines through quite quickly. He absolutely loves being close to his humans and will happily snuggle up to you.
Ronnie is responsive, eager to please and very food motivated, making treats a fantastic way to encourage him, guide his behaviour and reinforce the things he gets right. He is a clever boy who enjoys having a reason to work with you.
From what we have seen, Ronnie appears to be dog friendly on walks. He has been polite when passing other dogs and has enjoyed walking alongside our former resident Tyson, showing relaxed and sociable behaviour. He is curious about the dogs around him and has shown no reactivity.
He also doesn’t appear to react to cats when he sees them outside but this would need to be tested further.
Ronnie walks well on the lead and as is typical of his breed will need good amounts of exercise. One of our volunteers has taken him home and says he is a fantastic guest around the house and that he is toilet trained.

To adopt Ronnie, please complete an Adoption Application form and we will be in touch.
Please note that Homeless Hounds welcomes applications from Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under 5 years old.
