Roxy is new to Homeless Hounds and is under assessment. You can still apply for Roxy but be aware at this stage we don’t know what type of home she will require.
Roxy is a 2 year old medium sized crossbreed lady who came in to us in a neglected condition. She is smaller than her photos suggest – height wise she is around knee height on most people. She was initially very shy when she came in to us but she very quickly found her confidence and is a lovely girl who loves human attention. She is very gentle with humans and is a sweet girl. Roxy is dog friendly and is very sociable and playful with all the dogs she meets outside kennels. She has now been lucky enough to find a foster place in a home where there are other dogs.
Whilst she has been fine with her canine companions, her fosterer has noticed that she is a born leader and likes to be in charge! We think she could live with another placid dog who doesn’t mind being told to what to do! Roxy is cat friendly and has shown no reaction when tested in the vicinity of felines. Roxy isn’t keen on long car journeys and can be travel sick so this is something that any potential adopter should bear in mind as she may need medication from the vet to help her. Roxy is not yet completely house trained but her lovely fosterer is working on this.

To adopt Roxy please complete an Adoption Application form and we will be in touch.
Please note that Homeless Hounds welcomes applications from Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under 5 years old.
Thank you
