Ruby

Our lovely Ruby is a 18 months old cross breed. She has been with us since she was a puppy and was unfortunately returned to us through no fault of her own. She is very playful and has bounds of energy. She has a very cheeky nature and likes to win the game but will forget all about it when she gets a treat. She is very intelligent and trainable, she sits on command and gives paw.

As she gets older Ruby has matured and shows good behaviour on the lead. She loves her walks and is growing into a strong girl but she walks nicely and does not pull. She is selective with other dogs but pays attention when you correct her. She loves people and getting attention and affection. Ruby cannot be rehomed where there are children or visiting children. She can get very excited and mouthy – whilst her behaviour in this respect has improved considerably it does need further training.

You will always see her bright and cheerful when you greet her. She can entertain herself and is always playing with a toy or ball. She remains a firm favourite with all the volunteers.

Please note that Homeless Hounds welcomes applications from Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under 5 years old.
