Scooby is 8/9 years old but is still a very lively active boy.
Size wise he is a petite staffy who walks really well on the lead. He doesn’t pull on the lead at all and is very well behaved on his walks. He is dog friendly and has been happy to share dog walks with other dogs and walk alongside them calmly. Whilst Scooby has lived with other dogs, he is probably happiest as the only dog as he’s not keen on sharing his toys!
He loves all forms of human attention and is happy to greet visitors to the home, after the initial bark. He has also lived with cats previously. He is house-trained and can left alone for 3 hours or so provided he has been exercised and has his toys to entertain him.
Scooby is terrified of fireworks and can be nervous of sudden random sounds. When this happens, he may become anxious and need reassurance and a quiet space to settle. With this is mind, Scooby will benefit from a home that understands noise sensitivity and is committed to ongoing positive-reinforcement training to help build his confidence. Continued work with desensitisation will help him make steady progress.
We will provide more detailed information to any interested applicant.
