Snowy is new to Homeless Hounds & is under assessment, you can still apply for this handsome young boy but be aware at this stage we don’t know what type of home he will require.
Meet Snowy, a strikingly handsome Akita cross with a heart as big as his smile. This lovable lad is on the lookout for a forever home that can appreciate his gentle, goofy charm and give him the security and structure he needs to thrive.
Snowy is wonderfully dog friendly, happy to make new canine pals and enjoy a relaxed walk alongside them. He walks nicely on a harness and checks in with his human as he goes. He can be a little giddy and excitable when he sees a familiar person, especially when he knows an adventure is coming, but he soon settles into a calm, steady rhythm. He can be a little aloof when first meeting strangers, but learns to trust quite quickly. He’s previously lived with children, and his affectionate nature shines through in how much he enjoys being part of a family environment.
One important thing to know about Snowy: he’s quite the high jumper! This athletic boy will need a very secure home and garden, with fencing high enough to keep his curiosity safely contained. He’d be perfect for someone who understands smart, active breeds and can provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Snowy is a bright, beautiful dog with so much love to give. If you’re looking for a loyal friend who’ll bring joy, fun, and plenty of cuddles into your life, Snowy might just be your perfect match.
