Storm is a 2 year old staffy who is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. He originally came in to us with Sage, a female staffy, but we had to split them up following a squabble in the kennel they shared. Both seem to be doing better on their own.
Storm is a good natured dog who would benefit from a home in a calm adult household where he would get good walks and training.
He is a typical staffy who loves human attention and contact and he likes to give typical staffy greetings – lots of licks with no concept about personal space. Storm loves humans and relishes lots of attention and loves cuddles! We wouldn’t rehome Storm in any home where there are young children as he can be a bit of a bull in a china shop when greeting his humans. He is so enthusiastic in his greeting, that he could very easily knock children over.
In the home, Storm is fairly confident but we are not sure he would be happy to be left alone for long periods. Any new owner would have to be prepared to gradually build up the time he is left.
Outside on his walks, he would benefit from some lead training – he can be strong and pull on his lead and zigzags. Storm doesn’t appear to be particularly treat motivated but prefers attention and human contact. He is not reactive to other dogs whilst out on his walks.

To adopt Storm, please complete an Adoption Application form and we will be in touch.
Please note that Homeless Hounds welcomes applications from Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under 5 years old.
