Teddy is 8 years old (but apparently nobody has told him) and he is being returned to us due to a change in his owner’s circumstances. He’s a high energy, bouncy lad who adores human company. He’s keen to say hello to everyone on walks but can be reactive when he sees dogs. He walks quite well on the lead but can pull when something gets his attention.
Teddy is full of beans and boisterous, he isn’t aware of his size and thinks he’s a Chihuahua. He would benefit from some firm but fair boundaries to help him control his excitement, however, there is absolutely no malice in him.
He’s crate and house trained and can be left alone for short periods so long as there are no paper/cardboard items in reach as he likes to shred these. For this reason, he only has tough toys such as Kong or Nylabone.
Teddy is a man on the go but does also love a sofa snuggle in the evening and will do an impression of a weighted blanket in bed if allowed.
Teddy would be best as an only dog so he can get all the attention and adoration from his humans. He is good with children but because of his size and boisterous nature, can be a bit much for younger/smaller ones and may knock them over.
Teddy is a happy boy who is full of love and is keen to share this with everyone he meets.
